Review: Zoflora Disinfectant

What's your favourite smell?  Odds are, like most Brits, you'd say either freshly cut grass or fresh flowers.  No surprise there really as we spend a massive £7.7. billion each year maintaining our gardens and outisde space.  We truly are a nation of garden lovers.

At the same time, half of all Brits say that smell is the first thing they notice when they walk into someone's home, with more than 3/4 of us admitting in a recent survey conducted by Zoflora that we would judge someone for having a less than fragrant living space!

Inspired by this and the nation's love for garden fragrances, Zoflora, the UK's number one disinfectant, has recently launched two new scents: Country Garden and Summer Bouquet.

Zoflora's range of disinfectant products have been protecting British homes for over 90 years, and these new products use a concentrated formula which can be diluted 1 part to 40 parts water, making them safe to use throughout your home.

Diluted properly they are suitable for use around all household pets, except fish and reptiles.  This is great news for us because three house cats mean lots of litter tray changes and washes, but the lovely new Zoflora fragrances we were sent have actually made this somewhat onerous task more pleasant.

Summer Bouquet captures the scent of wild flowers with a hint of rose on a British Summer's Day, and Country Garden infuses the scent of pretty country garden flowers and orchard blossoms.  At the same time, Zoflora disinfectant kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, eliminates odours and is safe to use in all areas of the home.

We have used the disinfectants in the bathroom, on our laminate floors in hall and kitchen, and - hope my mum's sitting down - to clean the skirting boards and paintwork, as well as the cat loos, and have been really impressed with both its cleaning powers and the scents.  There really is a nice lingering aroma after you've been cleaning, and it beats that horrible normal disinfectant or cleaning product chemically smell.  Highly recommended, although I won't tell anyone if you don't bother with your skirting boards!

Available in 56ml bottles, these concentrated antibacterial Zoflora disinfectants are available at Wilkinsons, the big supermarkets, and independent local stores and pharmacies now.
