Our first Fiction Friday is an absolute cracker. It was one I picked up for pennies during the sad demise of British Bookstores last year and wasn't quite sure about, but Lara discovered it in the bookcase a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it.
A week or two ago we realised that we were beginning to get into a bit of a rut with cooking and really felt that we needed to do something about it. I remembered reading some time ago that the average family relies on ten or less dishes, which are rotated and adapted regularly to feed the family. A quick bit of research turned up this article which also says that most people have eight recipe books, but have only attempted five of the recipes!
