If you're not a blogger, or even if you are, you may not have heard of these prestigious bloggy awards, which are now open for nominations. Last year they received over 100,000 nominations and votes, and the top prizes went to some very worthy winners.
After the nomination period closes on 18th February, five blogs in each category will be shortlisted (the four with the most votes and one other), and then the voting will open to determine the winner in each category.
Here's what they have to say about the category of Best Blog Writer:
This award recognises someone who demonstrates exceptional skill in their use of words, and consistently writes posts that stay in our memories long after being read.
Wow! I can't believe I have been nominated, especially in such a prestigious category, I am very honoured. Thank you so much to whoever voted for me! As I've said before, I'm always fairly amazed that anyone other than my friends reads the blog, so to be nominated for an award for my writing is fantastic, thank you.
I'm up against some stiff competition, so pretty sure I won't make it to the short list, but should you feel like adding to my chances, you can also nominate Attachment Mummy in the Best Blog Writer (or indeed any other category!) by clicking on the badge below:
Congratulations to everyone else nominated, in any category, and good luck!
