our plans for Easter, largely involving chocolate and afternoon tea, with lots of family fun, some crafts, and of course church thrown in for good measure. But having just done some web browsing with my elevenses cup of tea, I stumbled across some amazing bargains for holiday cottages over the Easter break.
Now you may know that I am rather partial to holidays and travelling, although this has been curtailed a little since having children. Pre-Lara I had visited 5 of the 6 continents, and 20+ countries but, rather shockingly, I have never been to Scotland! Yep, only a few hours up the road, could be there by tonight, and I've never been. How dreadful is that!
I was only pondering this on Sunday night whilst watching the rather good BBC drama Shetland (hoping there's a series!). So many gorgeous views, the perfect place to get away from it all. And today, somewhat serendipitously, I stumbled upon the Scottish-Cottages website and saw this:
Now that looks pretty perfect to me! Me, Steve and the girls, holed up with lots of chocolate and all the necessities for a yummy Easter afternoon tea - splendid! Lots of walking, playing and fun to be had. Plus they have some amazing deals on offer for Easter breaks that we'll be looking to take advantage of!
If being in the middle of nowhere isn't quite your thing, how about an apartment in this stunning building, with even more impressive views across a loch? Just gorgeous!
What are your plans for Easter? Fancy a lovely break in the Scottish sun?
