Liven Up Your Lunch with Mission

We have been asked to take part in Mission Food's Liven Up Your Lunch challenge.  If you're fed up with boring lunches, whether packed for work, at home on your own, or en famille at the weekend, the Mission challenge is for you!

Mission Deli Wraps are the best we have tried, because they are very strong but not too thick, making them both tasty and easy to eat.  We sometimes find wraps are either a bit too thick and pappy, or they rip to shreds as soon as you put more than one filling in them, these don't do that.  To help inspire you to get all wrapped up this lunchtime, Mission has created some tasty new recipes, but here are our ideas:

We came up with some of our own ideas too, and amassed a wide range of ingredients this lunchtime to make up our recipes.  This is one of those build your own dish things the children can get involved in too, so we had great fun!

Here are some of our ideas, why don't you give them a try:

Grated Cheddar, grated carrot and salsa - yum!

Grated Cheddar, mayonnaise and black pepper - Sophia's favourite.

Falafel, hummus, tomato, spinach and red onion - my favourite.  (Seconds were had!)

Lara's recipe: Philadelphia, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives & spring onions.

Hummus, red pepper and red onion - Steve's favourite.

And to help make livening up lunch even more exciting, Mission has now teamed up with Sacla Squeezy Pesto and Galbani Mozzarella, the perfect ingredients partners that will get your tastebuds tingling. For a limited period you can get 50 pence off Galbani mozzarella or 30 pence off Sacla’s Squeezy Pesto with promotional packs of Mission Deli wraps. So whether you’re in the mood to top your wrap with mozzarella, or pack it with pesto, you can get a great deal on these two tasty products to help shake up your lunchtime habits.

  1. all these combinations look really nice, you're making me hungry!

  2. I love these - I fill mine with a filling then heat in the microwave!

  3. My favourite filling is cheese, onion and tomato - fill, wrap then pop in the microwave for a minute! Yummy!
