Of course, with lovely non-alcoholic drinks like Shloer around there is no need for pregnant ladies to resign themselves to only 'boring' drinks, and I shall now be looking forward to a summer of Raspberry & Rhubarb Punch because it is DELICIOUS! Up to now my favourite Shloer flavour was the white grape and elderflower, reminiscent of a glass of wine with Sunday lunch, but the Punch has beaten that into second place.
The Shloer Raspberry & Rhubarb Punch looks and smells very summery, and is perfect in a wine or champagne glass, as well as over lots of ice as Shloer recommend. Perfect summer's day drink there! Although the raspberry scent overwhelms the rhubarb in the glass, on tasting the two flavours work in harmony. It is a little sweet, but only as much as a glass of rose can be, and it would still work very well with food, as well as being drunk on its own - or with a box of chocolates!
A great drink to serve at barbecues or summery celebrations, it is very light and refreshing. The perfect drink for summer, whether you're pregnant or not!!
