Oils to Get You Through the Week

The working week (and the weekend after) can cause our bodies a huge amount of problems. A stressful week at work can lead to high blood pressure and pressure of your relationships. Tiredness can make you less attentive and less responsive. Lack of energy can cause lack of commitment. The list goes on – but there is a way to target these problems using aromatherapy – a practice which uses aromas and essential oils to deal with many different ailments and issues.

In this article, I will take you through the perfect aromatherapy week:

Beginning of the Week

Baldwin’s Synergy Detoxifying Body Oil – This oil is fantastic at smoothing out the blemishes and imperfections that a weekend of pubs, clubs and bad food has had on your skin. It uses ingredients such as grape fruit, juniper, fennel, oregano, etc. to sooth, smooth and moisturise your skin.

Baldwin’s Synergy Refreshing Body Oil – Orange and geranium extracts give the oil a fantastic citrusy scent, which is just perfect for rejuvenating you mid-week, when the long working days begin to catch up to you. Using this oil should help you to soldier on through the rest of the week.

End of Week

Baldwin’s Synergy Harmonising Body Oil – The working week is over, and so it’s time that you had a chance to relax and wind down – this will help you to enjoy your weekend much more. The lavender in this product is perfect for stress relief and relaxation – and burning it in an oil burner during the week can help to prevent a build-up of stress.

Week End

Baldwin’s Synergy Sensual Body Oil – This is your time to enjoy with your partner, and this oil is a perfect way to do that. Its blend of ylang ylang, rose and jasmine create a sensual scent, whilst also moisturising your skin – just get your other half to give you a massage and you will feel the benefits. And the beauty of these products is that they can be mixed, so you can reap the benefits of the oils together – just remember that to get the most out of your own concoctions, you will need to store them appropriately.

  1. I do so love essential oils. Massage can ease away muscle aches and pains. Reflexology I find so relaxing, yet rejuvenating.
