Review & Giveaway: Personalised Christmas Cards - ENDED

There has been a bit of a backlash against the writing and sending of Christmas cards in recent years, with the increase in environmental concerns, the ever-rising cost of stamps, and the growth of the e-card.  But surely there is nothing nicer on a cold December morning than the thunk of several cards descending on to the door mat, from friends old and new, near or far away.

I do love to both send and receive proper cards, and although I have been guilty myself of last minute e-cards, I would far rather send and receive 'proper' cards for birthdays, Christmas etc.  I even enjoy the much-maligned Round Robin inserts!  Personalised cards are even more fun - a cute or crazy picture of a dear friend's pet or child is always much appreciated and brings a smile, although I'm still in two minds about the card with a photograph of someone's snow-laden gate I received last year...

If you are likely to receive a card from us, you may want to look away now, as we have received a bundle of personalised cards from the lovely people at 123Print to review, and one is likely to wing through your letterbox in a few weeks' time!

I opted for the photo card which I meant I could add up to four photos, dependent on which design I chose.  The photos can then be re-sized, cropped and adjusted accordingly.  Selecting a couple of photos from our recent holiday seemed a good idea, so I put separate pictures of the girls on, and was really pleased with the result:

The insides of the cards are really attractive and because they are a good size and the printed greeting is at the bottom, you can still scribble in a personal message to your recipient if you so wish.  Great idea!  With the option to choose different fonts and font sizes as well as whatever you want to write, you can truly personalise your cards however you want.

With over 300 designs to choose from, there is sure to be something for everyone, and whether you want to go for the whole personal photo option, or just to personalise the inside of a card design of your choice, 123Print offer great service and fantastic value for money.
