Washing the floors can be a particularly onerous task, with the whole procedure of getting mop and bucket out, washing floor, drying floor/leaving to dry etc taking far too long for my liking. However, Cif have recently launched a new 'instant' floor cleaning product, Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner. It is a 'just waht it says on the tin' product, you simply squirt, wipe and you're done. I was interested to see if it would produce good results.
We used the product on our tiled bathroom floor, and laminate in the kitchen and hall. The cleaner was excellent; highly effective and so easy to use. The only thing I didn't like was that it looked like cat wee on our white tiled bathroom floor!!
My other grumble is that the fragrance is rather string and a little overpowering when used in a smaller space, e.g. the bathroom. I loved not having to rinse the floor though, and it dried so quickly.
It's also a great time saver, I'd say it saved a good 15-20 minutes a time. But, on top of that, I think the floors are cleaner because, being so easy to use, I'm cleaning them more often! It would be useful for in between top up or spot cleans, as well as regular cleaning, particularly handy for us when changing the cat litter trays, and finding all sorts of grubbiness underneath!
The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 for a 750ml bottle), which I think is quite pricey, especially as its not a concentrated product. We will definitely buy it, but as a bottle would only last a few floor washes I will be looking out for it on special offer.
A highly effective, time-saving and useful cleaner, but maybe a little too expensive?
