Petit Bateau: Autumn/Winter Wish List

Have you heard of Petit Bateau yet? Petit Bateau has been known for designing well–tailored, beautiful and desirable clothing for the whole family for over 100 years. With over a century of experience in the mid-high end fashion and nightwear market, the brand has made its mark across Europe, with 433 stores in France, 144 stores in Italy, 82 stores in Spain, 31 in Germany, and 27 on the high streets of Ireland.

The Petit Bateau childrenswear range has a distinct signature look, inspired by the effortless fashions of French city life. Here’s a sweet little wish list for autumn/winter, perfect for gifting or for wrapping your little ones up as the weather grows colder.

Autumn Nauticals: Navy and Checks

Outfit: Long Sleeved Checked Dress (£50), Scarf (£45), Patent Leather Ballet Pumps (£62)

Nautical is a timeless look and there’s no denying that the pillar box red/navy combo is always a hit with little ones. Primary colours are bold and eye-catching, and we just love this warm and cosy high neck dress, perfect for playing outside this autumn. At just £50, it’s the perfect present for birthdays or Christmas. Both the scarf and ballet pumps are available in alternative colours too.

Winter Sailor: Spots and Stripes

Outfit: Polka Dot Leggings (£13.50), Breton Top (£35), Sherpa Duffle Coat (£125)

Kids love patterns - and so do the designers at Petit Bateau. Their AW14 girl’s collection features a whole range of spots, stripes and nautical patterns. This outfit pulls together some cute polka dot leggings for maximum warmth and comfort when playing outdoors, a striped Breton Top for just £35.00 and a Sherpa Lined Duffle Coat, available from 3yrs to 12yrs.

School Adventures: Preppy

Outfit: Lycra Jersey Leggings (£17), Cotton Silkscreen Top (£18), Waterproof Coat (£92.50)

The preppy look is one of the most adorable looks for 2014, but what’s more fantastic about this outfit is the practicality of it. When it comes to wrapping your kids up for winter, style over substance simply will not do. If you are an active family and your little ones just love the outdoors, nothing is more important than their safety and comfort. Let this waterproof hooded coat protect your little girl from the elements when you’re next out and about. Whether you’re braving the fells of the Peak District or hiking in the beautiful Norfolk Broads, waterproofing is essential for the winter season.

  1. Wow the clothes are so cute. Can't wait to find out if I am having a girl so I can buy lots of beautiful clothes x

    1. Ooh, I hope so! Girls are fab, and such a delight to buy gorgeous clothes for. It's a shame that there aren't as cute clothes for boys though. Friends of mine who have boys really struggle to get beyond the blue/green and jeans combo!
