Review: Magical Colour Changing Umbrella from Holly & Beau #RainbowsintheRain

This fab little umbrella from Holly and Beau makes every rainy day special, by magically changing colour when it comes into contact with water.  The pink and white daisies literally burst open with colour when rain hits, turning the umbrella into a glorious riot of colour.

When we received this umbrella to review the sun was shining and there was absolutely no sign of rain, the girls waited, somewhat impatiently, for the day they could try the umbrella magic out.  Finally, these past couple of days they have been able to take it outside to watch the daisies change colour, and they love it!  The only problem is I'm going to have to buy a second one as this sharing thing just doesn't cut it!

Even Lara, normally nervous of going outside in the rain due to her SPD, loves grabbing the umbrella and dashing outside to watch the colours change.  After just a couple of minutes in the rain, the already pretty daisy-patterned umbrella has become a cottage garden of red, purple, yellow and green, and there has been much singing - and dancing - in the rain as a result.

When wet

They love it, and even enjoy watching the umbrella dry (I kid you not) and go back to the original pattern, although there is a certain level of disappoint when all the colour changing has stopped!  Thankfully, the colour-changing inks are water-based, so there are no harmful chemicals or to be wary of.

When dry

Great value at £14.99 this is a high quality umbrella that will see you through several seasons.  Ideal for a fun and quirky Christmas gift too, although it would be interesting to wrap!  Also available in colour-changing cupcakes and dogs (how cool?)  A range of colour-changing coats is also available, just perfect for any rain-phobic little ones, a winter must-have I'd say!

For every umbrella sold they make a donation of 20p to the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.  They work to support families caring for a seriously ill child, of which there are up to 11,000 in England at any one time.
