Win GoldieBlox & the Spinning Machine - ENDED

Have you heard about GoldieBlox yet?  In an attempt to drag girls, and their parents, away from the aisles of pink and gender-stereotyped toys, GoldieBlox creator Debbie Sterling has brought a range of engineering and construction toys to the market.

Created with a realistic story background, involving Goldie the girl inventor and her friends, each set comes with a book that talks the mini engineer through the problem.  She is then encouraged to problem solve and create a working solution to the dilemma faced.  The tasks help build spatial skills, engineering principles, and confidence in problem-solving.  The skills every 21st Century girl needs.

In the award-winning debut story, GoldieBlox and the Spinning Machine, Goldie builds a spinning machine to help her dog, Nacho, chase his tail.  Soon all her friends want in on the action.  Can the young learner help Goldie build a belt drive machine to spin everybody?

The kit comes with 16 design ideas and unlimited building possibilities.  It includes: Storybook, 5 animal figurines, 1 pegboard, 5 wheels, 10 axles, 5 blocks, 5 washers, 1 crank, 1 ribbon.

GoldieBlox toys are available to buy on Amazon, John Lewis, and Hamleys.
