Spring Cocktails with Greenall's

So far this is the longest time that has elapsed between pregnancies, and I must say I am rather enjoying being able to have a glass of wine or a cocktail when I want to.  When I saw this recipe for a Greenall's Spring Collins I was sold - delish.  I think I might have to indulge in a few more of those this month before embarking on pregnancy number four!  While I am (always!) more than happy with a gin and tonic, especially if it's made with Greenall's gin, these spring cocktails are lovely.  Enjoy!

The Spring Collins is just one of the cocktails Greenall’s is highlighting for the upcoming spring and summer; it's time to celebrate Good Times with Greenall's!  Greenall’s is recognised as the
original London Dry Gin, the UK’s fast growing premium gin, and has been crafted in one of England’s oldest gin distilleries for more than 250 years.  Impressive stuff.

The lush Spring Collins cocktail was conceived by Cocktail Box at The Cheltenham Races where  Greenall’s first celebrated becoming the Official Gin of The Jockey Club.  It will be at 340 racing events at 15 of the UK’s most famous racecourses this season.  Now there's an idea, announcing the Official Cocktail of Attachment Mummy... ;-)

Soda or sparkling mineral water

Shake first three ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Top with soda and garnish with a lemon slice and mint sprig.

And finally, here are Greenall's top tips on how to make the perfect gin & tonic:

Greenall’s Gin & Tonic

50ml Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin
100ml high quality tonic water
2 wedges of lime

Fill a tall glass with ice, squeeze one of the wedges of lime over the ice, pour in the Greenall’s Gin and top up with tonic water. Garnish with the second lime wedge.

The Greenall’s range of gins includes: Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin, Greenall’s Wild Berry Gin and Greenall’s Sloe Gin.  Greenall’s Sloe was chosen for the new Great British Gin Bar cocktail menu aboard Britain’s biggest cruise ship Britannia.
