We haven't been to Legoland for a while and, now Lara is seriously into her LEGO, it was the perfect trip for her! She and Sophia met all the LEGO Friends girls, both the brick and real life versions, and they adored the show the girls performed down at the Harbour - we watched it three times!!

Sophia hobnobbing with the stars!
Sophia really enjoyed the day, especially the Star Wars and Duplo areas, as well as having her photo taken with all and sundry! But, as ever at Legoland, there wasn't much for under 3s to do, so Tatiana did get a little bored. They all loved the Fairytale Brook though, where Sophia's favourite character Snow White was a big hit.
Lara loved driving the little cars around, and was really good at navigating her way through the narrow lane, and avoiding crashing into her fellow drivers who kept stalling!
She was also delighted to 'meet' her hero, George Washington, at the Mount Rushmore area of Miniland.
We also found much-loved and missed Sully dog, Auntie Kim's late pet, whom the girls adored. Very sweetly, Lara cried out, "So this is where he's gone!"
Other highlights included this huge Egyptian statue, the Atlantis submarine ride and aquariums, and the dinosaur ride.
Lara came home full of ideas for things to build with Daddy, including this huge block of flats from the LEGO Friends display! I think we might need some more bricks, first...
Amazingly, we actually got off fairly lightly in the huge LEGO shop, with Tatiana actually being the one who chose the most boxes. Maybe it was compensation for being fed up during the day! Sophia seized the chance for a last LEGO Friends cuddle.
Thanks for our fun day out, Avios. Start collecting your points today, folks!
