This Month We Love... May 2017

Technically all these things arrived in April, but with our not great month it has taken till now to tell you about them.  Oops!  So what came to our door?

Finding interesting but healthy snacks for kids at home or in lunchbox can be tricky.  Most products marketed at under 12s are laden with salt, sugar and fat, not to mention all the unpronounceable and fake sweeteners, preservatives and flavourings.  New snack brand Chewy Moon aims to plug that gap.

Their aim is to educate children about nutrition, whilst also providing a tasty snack ideal for on the go, at home and lunchboxes.  The snacks are all-natural and a combination of sweet and savoury, with the choice to input your child's preferences to custom make their monthly snack selection.  The world of Chewymoon brings a host of characters to entertain younger kids, whilst the funky retro style packaging makes them acceptable to tweens and teenagers too.  Suitable from the age of 3, try your first box for free today.

Animal Jam series 2 has landed!  Great news for any fan of these cute little collectibles.  With all new super cute animals, play sets and houses, there is plenty to collect and lots of play opportunities.

The new igloo houses are very cute and come with a pet, food bowl and online game access code.  if you haven't come across the game before, it is backed by National Geographic and as well as being fun to play, kids learn lots of new animal facts while playing.  There are 106 different pets to collect, so plenty of opportunities for pocket money spends!

The bigger sets include this brightly coloured pet wash station, which comes with two pets.  Perfect for washing all their Animal Jam collection, the girls are sharing this between them and having lots of fun with it.  Luckily, Shopkins fit well too so there are endless play situations here.

Animal Jam toys are available from leading toy retailers such as Smyths Toys and The Entertainer.

For the grown-ups, we had a peek at the new spring range from Baylis & Harding.  We love this pretty Royale Bouquet hand wash dispenser, available exclusively from House of Fraser.  The pretty, romantic design is available in pink, yellow and purple, being Rose & Honeysuckle, Lemon Blossom & White Rose and Lilac & English Lavender respectively.

If you prefer a hand wash and lotion combo, the range also includes these duo sets in the same fragrances.  The Royale Bouquet design includes exquisite hand-painted floral designs in watercolour hues and makes the perfect addition to any bathroom or guest suite.  Available from leading retailers, including Amazon.

Finally, the award-winning Skin Spa Mum to Bee range, the perfect baby shower, mum-to-be or new baby gift for mums. Available in four different soothing honey and almond gift sets such as wash bag or travel bag, the range is widely available.  We love the Baylis & Harding Mum to Bee Relaxation Time Slipper Set which includes foot soak crystals, foot lotion and a pair of soft, fluffy slippers.  The perfect gift for an expectant mum, and a great way for her to pamper herself in those precious months.  Tea and cake optional...  Available from Amazon and Tesco, amongst other stores.
