And finally, boosting our immunity and keeping healthy is on most people's minds at this time of year, as the mercury drops and we reach for our scarves, whilst avoiding the random person sniffing and coughing on the bus.  Much research has been done into how much vitamin D supports the immune system, and these new products from BioCare combine vitamin D with probiotics for a digestive health and immunity boost.

BioCare Red Berry BioMelts sachets for kids combine probiotics and vitamin D to help promote levels of friendly bacteria and vitamin D to support immunity. With a tasty raspberry and strawberry flavour, they can simply be poured onto the tongue, with no need for water nor to keep them chilled. Suitable from age 3, they are vegetarian-friendly and dairy-free, contain no artificial colours or flavours, and are sweetened with prebiotic xylitol.

For adults, BioCare Bioacidophilus is a high-potency probiotic providing friendly bacteria to hep your digestive system, ideal after a stomach bug or when travelling, but also a great everyday boost to your body. They can also be taken alongside and after antibiotics to help prevent the destruction of gut bacteria that usually occurs. Both products are available from BioCare and independent health food stores.
