In my past lives I travelled; worked in the theatre, executive search, and teaching (EFL and primary); studied Russian cultural history and literature to Masters level; started and stopped a PhD; and lived in Moscow and Samara, Russia. However, my greatest role to date is being 'mummy', it's just brilliant!
We believe in instinctive, attachment-style parenting, so I am currently tandem nursing both toddler and baby; we wear and carry our babies as much as possible; try to practise positive discipline; respect our children as individuals with their own likes and dislikes, wants and needs; co-sleep all together in our massive family bed; and we will be/are already home educating.
We love, in no particular order: cooking, walking, the beach, afternoon tea, travelling, living by the sea, reading, playing, holidays, cats, having fun, eating out, nice clothes, hotels, chocolate, days out and much, much more. Oh, and Mummy has a bit of a bath/magazine/wine and lovely smellies habit!
