Day in London with Cousin Mya

Yesterday, we took my mum and niece, Mya, to London for the day, to soak up some early Christmas-ness and have a good wander round.  It was great fun, and Lara loved hanging out with her big cousin.

Covent Garden's Christmas decorations are as quirky as ever this year, but Lara and Mya both loved the huge deer and the enormous Christmas tree.  The oversized baubles inside the market look very impressive and effective too.

Such a beautifully blue sky for November!  I love these crisp, wintry days.

We happened upon some Pearly Kings and Queens about to go into church for the Remembrance Day service, but they happily posed with Mya first.

Mya had her class teddy for the weekend, so we made sure we got some fun photos of him too, busily eating his yummy pastries at Paul cafe.

Lara loved the M&M shop in Leicester Square, especially this area where the characters are posing for their version of the iconic Abbey Road shot.

In the end, Lara was quite worn out by it all, especially after a trip to Hamleys, that mecca of childhood, and a lovely late lunch at Vapiano*.  But Sophia kept going strong!
