Review: Trunki London Bus

Despite appearances to the contrary, Sophia is in many ways the most independent of our three girls.  I've always said that she'll be the one who decides one day that she's going off to travel the world, and will just up and off with barely a backward glance.  So it was only right and fitting that she should be the first to have her own suitcase.

When this gorgeous red Trunki arrived in the new Red London Bus design, she was delighted!

In classic Trunki style, the bus design has cute 'horns' and the central bottom depression for little people to sit on and ride.  The case is made from the same hard-wearing, lightweight plastic as adult suitcases and comes with a 5 year guarantee.  The design originated as a response to small people's travel boredom, and they can be used to ride on when little legs get tired.  They're even robust enough to cope with the treatment 3 year olds can put them through - and believe me, Sophia has tried!

Named the Boris - wonder why! - this cute bus design comes with a selection of stickers that can be used to populate and personalise the bus.  Sophia got stuck in and loved putting the different characters on the seats of her bus.

How cute is this with all the animals in place on the 'seats' of the Trunki bus!

Like all Trunkis, the Boris has a capacious interior just perfect for toddler packing, and on our recent holiday to Butlins, Sophia fitted in everything she needed.

She loved packing and unpacking all her own clothes, although the arranging in the drawer left something to be desired!

Sophia even took the chance to have a quick self-propelled ride down the corridor in our hotel room!

The Boris is just one of the range of Trunki designs available, which includes Hello Kitty and Gruffalo collaborations, as well as other unique designs.  You can see the full range on the Trunki website.  The Boris Trunki retails at £49.99.
