A year ago today we lost our precious, much longed for fourth baby. Yet I am still, and will always be, a mother to four children. Although only three are here with me Earthside, Teddy will always be a part of our lives.
With every pregnancy, our babies have been real to us from the first inkling of pregnancy. With three pregnancies no test was needed, we just knew, and each baby was very, very real within days of conception. No less so with Teddy.
Named Teddy by Lara as it could be a girl or a boy’s name, our fourth baby is as real to all of us as any other baby. He, I’m sure Teddy is a he, a Theodore Laurence, Laurie, to my Little Women, is missed every day and talked about and prayed for often.
I am a mother of four, we are a family of six (eleven!).
We will never forget you, Teddy. Sleep well with Nanny, Grampey Bill, Cindey and Pippa until we are all together again.
