Our Unschooled Week #34

After last week's fun at Butlins and Peppa Pig World for Tatiana's birthday, this week didn't show any sign of letting up!  At the weekend we headed up to Buckinghamshire to my mum's for a few days, where the girls had a brilliant time playing crazy games with their cousins for the afternoon, and piled presents under Nanny's tree.

On Monday, we went to Legoland for the day, which was all Christmassy and lovely.  The schools still hadn't broken up so it was very quiet and were able to go straight on all the rides we wanted to.  The girls loved this LEGO Father Christmas and reindeer.

Star Wars was a big hit, as always

There were Christmas trees everywhere, and lots of  'snow', along with lots of elves and masses of fairy lights everywhere.

Miniland had lots of festive touches, and looked amazing all lit up with fairy lights at night.

The girls made LEGO snowflakes with elves and met Mrs Christmas.

There were even fairy lights in the most unusual places, such as all down this Pharoah!

A VERY rare photo of all of us!

As darkness fell, we headed off through the pine forest to meet Father Christmas for the fourth and final time!

Before heading up through the mass of fairy lights towards home...

With a quick rest on the Lego Friends' bed first...

Miniland all lit up:

On Tuesday, we did an epic round of relatives and friends, delivering Christmas cards and presents.  Lara and Sophia wanted photos in front of Auntie Maureen's gas fire because it was all wintry, apparently.  Thanks Auntie Bob!

Since then, we have been busy with wrapping, shopping, tidying, crafting and everything else.  All getting ready for the weekend and the Big Day on Monday.  We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

And don't forget to enter our competitions
