I finally had my Mother's Day! After our week or so of horrid illness, Mother's Day got cancelled. Finally being better we got organised and it happened just a week late - and I was thoroughly spoilt. #blessed
These gorgeous little faces presented me with gifts, cards, flowers and a wonderful breakfast fit for a princess!
The girls' gifts were so carefully chosen and just perfect. Favourite Emma Bridgewater mugs, a sweet little pink bowl, a beautiful necklace, and various other bathroom bits etc.
And of course, those hand drawn cards and first writings are the absolute best!
We headed up to Chiddingfold in Surrey to visit beautiful Ramster Gardens and had a wonderful day.
The girls loved spotting and naming all the spring flowers...
... as well as being a little crazy!
Sophia practiced her map reading and led us round to favourite haunts.
For me, moments like this are just perfect, seeing the girls interacting with and discovering their world, and the sheer joy that it brings them. Bliss.
Lara made flower petal wands for everyone so they could turn each other into frogs and butterflies.
While Tatia helped this gorgeous statue with her violin playing.
Then there were these new statues to discover.
We even saw the beautiful but elusive resident kitty, Simba.
A perfect day. Thank you babies - and daddy! x
