The Best Easter Eggs this Year

The shops are full of eggs of every size and shape, but how can you be sure of what you're getting - and is it good value for money?

Divine Chocolate's Dark Egg with Pink Himalayan Salt is vegan, fairtrade and delicious.  It has a 60% cocoa thick dark chocolate egg with a touch of pink Himalayan salt and is just the right combination of lush dark chocolate with a hint of saltiness, perfect for any dark chocolate lover.

While their Flight of Flavours pack contains five smooth milk and white chocolate eggs.  The flavours include milk chocolate with toffee, white chocolate with strawberries and milk chocolate with tangy orange.  A delight for anyone who loves unusual flavours and high quality chocolate.  A vegan version is also available.

Divine Easter eggs are available from Ocado, Booths, Oxfam, Riverford and other good retailers.

Finding something exciting for children who can't eat or don't like chocolate can be a challenge.  Haribo have come to the rescue this year with a lovely range of chick and bunny-themed sweets.  In suitably festive wrapping, the Bunny'n'Friends and Chick'n'Mix packs look great and are a worthy alternative to Easter eggs, meaning kids won't feel left out.

Don't miss the Hunt the Double Yolker competition on promotional packs either - you could win a family holiday!

Cadburys has a huge range of eggs on offer this Easter, containing everyone's favourite bar - although Sophia is campaigning for a Fudge one!

This super-sized Cadbury Dairy Milk egg contains two large sharing bars of chocolate as well as a substantial egg, which will keep any Dairy Milk love going for ages!

While this smaller child-sized egg contains an egg and cute Cadbury purple bunny to cuddle.  All packaging is cardboard and fully recyclable too.

The rest of the Cadbury range includes something for everyone, such as hollow bunnies, solid Dairy Milk miniature eggs, pastel-shelled Mini Eggs in a variety of packaging and guises, and many, many Creme Eggs.

Fans of the Dairy Milk and Oreo combination won't be disappointed as there are eggs of various sizes available, as well as a host of other chocolate bars such as Twirl, Double Decker, Wispa, Flake and many more.
