Fun Sensory Garden / Backyard Scavenger Hunt for Kids {with free printables}

The sun is shining and, although we can't go far afield, it's the perfect time to get kids outdoors in your garden or backyard looking for mini-beasts, flowers, leaves and more.  Grab our free printable and get searching!

With this fun free printable garden scavenger hunt, they can colour in the items as they spot them, so make sure you supply crayons or colouring pencils.  We love these pencils that are great for little hands.

With this fun printable in hand, children simply search for the items on the list and colour them in (the right colour) as they find them.

This is a real sensory experience too, getting children to explore the garden with all of their senses, stopping to hear the birds sing, the feel of the grass, and to explore textures around the garden as a bonus hunt.

Little ones will love to get hands on in the backyard and have fun searching for something that is spiky, round or smelly.
