After winning some pots of slime in Blackpool this spring, Sophia and Tatiana have become rather obsessed with the stuff. We missed the whole unicorn poop slime over Christmas, but with the new craze they were delighted to be sent a Poopsie Slime Surprise Unicorn and Poopsie Slime Surprise Poop Pack to review.
Slime, sparkles, poop and unicorns is a lethal combination for a lot of kids, so the arrival of a unicorn that poops sparkly slime was a HUGE deal for the smalls. There were fanfares galore and I could barely grab the camera before they were ripping the packaging off.
Poopsie Slime Surprise Poop Pack
Sophia quickly took ownership of the Poopsie Slime Surprise Poop Pack which contains everything you need to make your own magical unicorn poop (slime).
The principle is similar to the LOL Surprise dolls and similar products, with lots of little packets to unwrap, cue much excitement about what would be next. There are 10 magical surprises in each tub, some on the inside and some concealed by the packaging on the outside.
Sophia delighted in opening them all. The 10 surprises include everything you need to make some slime, including unicorn food (slime powder), unicorn magic (activator), scent dropper (ours was cherry), little plastic spoon, measuring cup and a milkshake-style cup to mix the slime in.
There is also a poop-shaped character keychain which could be clipped onto a backpack or school bag. This little cow is Sophia's favourite bit and has performed various functions since it arrived. There are 18 different varieties to collect.
The slime is easy to make by combining the ingredients and adding a little water, and pleasantly easy to clear up after too, always a win for us parents! Sophia loved opening this surprise, making up the slime and playing with all the parts.
