Whether you’re traveling from within the UK or even coming from abroad especially to visit Peppa Pig World, we’ve got your little ones' dream adventure covered.
What Is Peppa Pig World?
Peppa Pig World is a themed section of Paultons Park, a family amusement park located just outside the New Forest National Park in Hampshire.
Opened in 2011, Peppa Pig World is a unique experience created specifically for preschool-aged kids and their families.
The theming covers all aspects of Peppa Pig's world, with pastel houses, fluffy clouds, quacking ducks and everything else you associate with the beloved TV show.
Everything from the rides to the buildings and the landscaping is modelled after scenes from the series.
Little ones will be amazed that they can visit Peppa’s House, take a ride on Grandpa Pig’s Little Train or George’s Dinosaur Adventure and splash around in the mini Muddy Puddles splash park.
Even the music and voiceovers are straight from the show, creating a completely immersive experience that toddlers and younger kids will adore.
We've been taking our girls since they were tiny, and they still love it!
How to Get to Peppa Pig World
Peppa Pig World is easily accessible from much of the UK, just head down the M3 towards Southampton on the south coast.
There is a huge car park which is free for guest use.
Paultons is ideal for a short break and you can book one or two night hotel breaks which include entrance to the park.
Two days is ideal if you want to experience everything Paultons Park has to offer as there are two sides, one with general amusement park rides for younger and older kids, then Peppa Pig world on the right hand side.
In between are lovely gardens (great for picnics), a fun nature trail and animals and birds to look at.
You could also visit Peppa Pig World and Paultons Park by train.
The nearest train station is Southampton Central, from where you can take a taxi or a bus to the park.
If you're coming from much further away you could even fly.
The closest airport is Southampton Airport, which is just 15 minutes away by car.
London Heathrow and Gatwick airports are also within reasonable driving distance.
Best Time to Visit Peppa Pig World
Choosing the right time to visit can significantly impact your experience.
Like most theme parks, Peppa Pig World can get crowded, especially during school holidays, on bank holidays and at weekends.
If your children are not yet in school or home educated, you can visit outside of school term time, when the park is quietest.
We have found Tuesdays and Wednesdays to be the quietest days, and in the afternoons especially you will have very little queuing time.
Visiting mid-week during term time in April / May or September / October is the best way to enjoy shorter wait times and a more relaxed experience.
But, as many attractions are outdoors, it's best to check the weather forecast and bring waterproofs if needed.
Some rides may close temporarily during bad weather or for maintenance, so check online or get the Paultons app for details.
Tickets and Entry Information
Peppa Pig World is included in the admission price for Paultons Park, meaning you get access to all of the 70+ rides and attractions across the entire park, not just Peppa Pig World.
There are various ticket types available and you get a good discount by booking in advance rather than purchasing on arrival.
Single-Day Ticket prices vary based on the season and whether the day is 'peak' or 'off-peak'.
Two-Day Passes are great for families who want to explore both Peppa Pig World and the rest of Paultons Park as there is too much to see in just one day.
Children under 1 metre in height are admitted free to the park, but they are pretty strict on measuring and height is measured with shoes on.
Pro Tip: Always book online to skip the ticket queues and save money.
Peppa Pig World Rides and Attractions
Peppa Pig World is home to 13 Peppa-themed rides and other attractions, including character meet-and-greet opportunities.
As you arrive, you cross a railway track and hear the iconic Peppa Pig music playing, spot her house on the hill and all the amazing rides.
But where to go first? Here are all of the must-do experiences:
1. Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club
Cruise the water and sail around Pirate Island on Grampy Rabbit’s brightly coloured boats which seat up to 4 people.
This ride gently spins as you float along the waters, and make sure to keep an eye out for Peppa and the gang!
2. George’s Dinosaur Adventure
Grown-ups and little ones can ride on a dino-shaped scooter through a prehistoric-themed trail.
This is definitely a fan favourite for dino-lovers and even the smallest can ride with mummy or daddy round the prehistoric garden.
3. Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride
Join Peppa on a magical ride to gently soar high above Peppa Pig World in a colourful hot air balloon.
The views are fantastic as the ride gently rotates giving you sights from every angle, perfect for excited kids!
4. Peppa’s House
Not a ride, but definitely a must-see. Always our first stop on a visit!
Walk through a life-sized replica of Peppa’s iconic yellow house which is perfect for photos and imaginative play.
5. Grandpa Pig’s Little Train
All aboard Grandpa Pig’s Little Train (or mini-a-ture locomotive) as he takes you around the track of his lovely garden.
A slow-paced ride where children can take a colourful seat to enjoy a scenic loop while listening to familiar voices from the show.
6. Muddy Puddles Splash Park
No Peppa adventure is complete without some 'jumping up and down muddy puddles' fun!
Head through Mr Potato’s Adventure Playground to get to the splash park for some watery fun.
Bring swimsuits and towels for this water play area during warmer months and wellies and waterproofs when it's cooler.
Pro tip: There is another larger splash park, perfect for hot days, and several playgrounds over on the other side of Paultons Park.
7. Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight
This is another ride with amazing views, our favourite when it is getting dark and the park is decorated with twinkly lights for Christmas.
Join Miss Rabbit as she invites you to take flight in one of her colourful helicopters (seats 4) as they fly round and round and you take in the amazing views.
8. George’s Spaceship Indoor Playzone
This fun indoor play space with soft play, slides and play recycling centre is a great place to head to on a wet or cold day.
Lots of fun for younger kids but older ones will not be able to play here, unfortunately.
9. The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride
A newer addition to Peppa Pig World and based on the episode where Peppa meets the late Queen Elizabeth, The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride takes you on a journey fit for royalty!
This wonderful, themed monorail is the largest ride at Peppa Pig World, allowing you to tour from above as your 6-seater carriage winds its way over paths, gardens, water and even through the Queen’s castle.
10. Daddy Pig’s Car Ride
Pick your favourite colour and get ready to ride around in Daddy Pig’s cars.
Each car seats up to 4 and small people can even drive and hold the steering wheel!
11. Windy Castle Ride
This is an exciting ride where you are lifted up, up, up into the skies by fluffy white clouds.
May not be suitable for nervous children as it does swing a bit on windy days!
Enjoy the sights from above or, if you’re feeling daring, turn the wheel to make your cloud spin!
12. Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip
Make a splash on Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip!
Take your pick from many eye-catching, colourful boats and smoothly sail around on this fabulous little ride.
You may even be accompanied by a duck or two!
13. Meet Peppa Pig and George
For the ultimate atraction and the most excitement from your little ones, head to Miss Gazelle's school house where the cartoon's most popular characters appear on the verandah every day for photograph opportunities with their loving fans.
Peppa and George appear throughout the day (check times at the park or on the app) and Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, Zoe Zebra and Suzy Sheep have also been known to make seasonal appearances.
And don't miss the amazing shop inside Peppa Pig World with everything from picture books and cuddly toys to playsets and even unique Peppa-themed clothing ranges.
Food and Dining Options
There are lots and lots of picnic places throughout the park, whether you prefer a picnic table or to sit on the grass.
You can also get your hadn stamped at the ticket barriers to pop out to collect your picnic.
If you prefer to buy food on site, Peppa Pig World has several family-friendly dining options, including cafes and kiosks, all serving kid-friendly menus.

Tips for Visiting Peppa Pig World with Young Children
As with all things with little ones, planning ahead will help to ensure that your visit goes smoothly.
Here are some practical tips:
1. Arrive Early
The park opens at 10am, but gates usually open around half an hour earlier.
Arriving early helps you beat the crowds, but exploring the rest of the park before Peppa Pig World will also help - if your child can bear it!!
2. Bring a Buggy
Even if your child doesn’t usually use one, a long day of walking might change that.
A festival cart is a great idea if you don't have a buggy or your kids are a bit older.
3. Pack Essentials
Bring nappies, sunscreen, snacks, reusable water bottles, and a change of clothes are must-haves.
Add swimwear for Muddy Puddles and a picnic if required.
Pro tip: There is a water refilling station just outside the entrance to Peppa Pig World.
4. Use the Tot Swap Pass
If you’re with another adult, this lets each parent take turns on bigger rides without waiting in line twice.
5. Download the Paultons Park App
This app is great and it includes an interactive map, up-to-date queue times, and daily schedules for all the shows and meet-and-greets.
