PJ is an official (and very cute) corgi emoji released by the Palace for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The Queen is, of course, synonymous with this short-legged, pointy-eared dog breed.

She has had more than 30 corgi companions during her reign, most of them descendants of her first corgi, Susan, given to her on her 18th birthday in 1944.

She currently has three dog companions, an elderly dorgi (corgi/dachshund cross) called Candy, and two corgi puppies, Muick and Sandy, who provided much entertainment during lockdown.
