Cherry Bakewell Baked Oats Recipe

Come on who doesn't want a plant-powered 'cherry bakewell' for breakfast?!  Don’t mind if we do. Super easy to make, even more delicious to eat, try these Almond and Cherry Baked Oats for a fruity kind of morning.

Almond and Cherry Baked Oats

Serves 2


80g porridge oats
2 tbsp ground flax seeds
20g ground almonds
70g vegan yogurt, we used Alpro Plain Unsweetened Big Pot
170ml almond milk, we used Alpro Almond Unsweetened drink
½ tsp almond extract
100g frozen or canned pitted cherries
2 tbsp maple syrup, plus extra to serve


1. Preheat the oven to 180C.  Grease two shallow baking dishes.

2. Mix together all the ingredients except the cherries.

3. Once well combined, spoon half into each baking dish.

4. Dot with the cherries, pushing them into the oat mix.

5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until set with a lightly coloured crust on top.

6. Drizzle with a little extra maple syrup to serve.
