Snickers Banana Boats Recipe

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

2 bananas
2 - 3 tablespoons of peanut butter (or other nut butter)
¼ cup / 30g chocolate chips
A small handful of unsalted peanuts, chopped
Caramel sauce

Method

1. Slice the bananas in half lengthwise.

2. Place chocolate chips in a microwave proof bowl and microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each time. (You can also do this in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water.)

You could also use a chocolate spread like Nutella, if your prefer.

3. Once the chocolate is almost melted, stir until completely smooth.* Set aside.

* Cook's note: To make your chocolate look shiny, add a bit of coconut oil to your melted chocolate. Let it melt and stir through.

4. Spread peanut butter over the halved bananas then top with chopped peanuts.

5. Drizzle a little caramel sauce on top of the bananas.

6. Top with a drizzle of melted chocolate.

7. Serve immediately.
