Cauliflower Buffalo Wings Recipe

These spicy pieces of cauliflower are delicious as a side or as part of a tapas or party spread.  Rather spicy, so for younger children you may want to tone them down a bit, dependent on how spice-friendly your kids are.  A whole cauliflower makes rather a lot, so cut down to half if you are offering the dish as part of a bigger meal.

Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

1 large cauliflower, broken into florets
2-3 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, finely sliced
1 tbsp paprika
2 red chillis, seeds discarded or 1-2 tsp chilli powder

Method

1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C.  Place the cauliflower into a large saucepan with lid (you could also use a large bowl and place a plate over).

2. Pour the olive oil over, then add the other ingredients.

3. Placing the lid firmly on the pan, hold the lid and give the pan a good shake to coat the cauliflower.

4. Tip the cauliflower into a baking tray, spread out and cook for 15-20 minutes, until tender.  Serve immediately.
